The root of Silver Gazwa can be traced back to the realm of Shogun Total War.

Back then in late 2000 Justy wandered into the wonderful and exciting world of Shogun Total War. Then in early 2001, g0ldfish, on recommendation of a colleague, started playing STW.

Sometime after, the two met online and thus started the great friendship and comradeship. Each in his own way contributed to STW community.

Justy was actively involved in his clans, Kenchi and the Cowboys. g0ldfish joined the Aku during the Last Clans War period of STW. Slightly before the dissolve of Aku, he return to ronin status and become headmaster of Shogun Academy.

The formation of a Singapore based Total War clan has been in blueprint for a long time, and with the release of Medieval Total War, both Justy and g0ldfish felt it is the right time. Thus the official formation of The Silver Gazwa on 1st of Sep 2002. Clan SG welcomes all Singapore-based TW gamers to join in, promising lots of online (and offline) fun, and great comradeship like no other games or clans. Though the Clan is founded by two, it shall be the new members of the Clan who will bring Silver Gazwa to new height of achievements.

Total War has been a revolutionary game, a classic in the making. Commanding armies of 10,000 of men, generals have to make real-time tactical decisions on the spot in the classical manner - type of offence to employ (anvil/hammer, pincers, ..), flanking movement, deciding the time to send in the cavalry for the punch, how best to use the surrounding terrain to one's advantage. The experience is especially rewarding when playing multiplayer 3v3 or 4vs4.
